James E. (“Jim”) Farah is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and was a charter member of The Florida Coastal School of Law, where he earned the degree of Juris Doctorate. Jim also earned the degree of Doctorate of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and an MBA from Jacksonville University. Jim’s professional career spans over the past thirty years, which includes working for United Parcel Service for twenty years. While at UPS, he held various management and staff positions including being one of UPS’s in-house attorneys. In 2003, Jim left UPS to pursue other personal interests and career opportunities.
Jim has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2000. He is the managing attorney and owner of The Farah Law Group. Jim primarily focuses not only on providing general counsel legal services for his small to medium sized business clients, but also offers counseling and management representation for negotiations, acquisitions, sales and for other general business matters. In addition to Jim, the firm has several attorneys of counsel that help provide additional legal services in the area of probate and family law.
Jim has been, and is currently, an adjunct professor at Jacksonville University and The Florida Coastal School of Law. Jim teaches in the areas of business law, management, corporations, and other business related courses. He also holds a current Florida Real Estate Broker’s license.
